Room 3

Term 2 week 4 room 3 has started tennis as a class exercise. Tennis is very helpful for us because a lot of us did not know how to actually do anything in tennis but now we sort of have an idea on tennis. here are a few photos of our first session.                                           Hopefully we can have more sessions playing tennis

 Week 3 Room 3 Blog Term 2 Welcome to Room 3's Blog! Life Education Part 2. I am Balaaj  and today we will talk about Life Education Lesson 2. On lesson 2 we went further into Pat and looked at the heart and lungs. The brain has a lot of parts to help us live.     Life Education... most of you know him as harold the giraffe now i am going to talk about lesson one and my friend Balaaj will talk about lesson two.So our focus was on the digestive system and the body parts in this is: small intestine, large intestine, stomach, brain and the lungs.Also for the brain we talked about the different parts of it and what it controls and i will tell you now. Cerebrum is located at the front of your head and it is responsible for integration of complex sensory and neural functions.Under the Cerebrum is the brain stem witch helps tell the body is the heart needs to beats faster also it helps to swallow food also helps to breathe.Next is the Cerebellum witch is located at the back of the head and controls voluntary movement in our body also sends messages in the spinal cord.So we were split into groups and each of us had one part of the brain, we were given about 5 minutes to read the descriptions then Miss Clampitt would choose rando...

             Week 2 Term 2 Room 3 Hello I am Balaaj and I will be your host for this blog. It is now the starting of Week 2 in Term 2. This week, or this entire term, we are doing Fractions for maths and it is challenging. So we basically have to pick a simple machine and create a slide about it. in writing, we are doing our holiday recounts. Thats what is there for now. THIS SECTION WILL BE UPDATED

On Thursday 3rd of may room 3 did a math measuring project. So what we had to do was write in our math book what we are measuring then take a guess how long it was or what the width was for what we were measuring. Then we would go and measure the correct length and then write the answer in our book. Most of us would be exited when we got the guess right.....                        Here are some photos of what we ended up with

          Room 3 Blog Week 1 Term 2 2018  Term 1 is now over. Term 2 has started and this term's concept is Function. We are working alongside Room 4 in a inquiry project. We are creating a function project with room 4. Here are some photos.

Room 3 have been doing a inquiry project about tiny houses with another school in China called nigbo primary.This lucky opportunity has already made a start and we are now progressing towards lesson five.which is building our tiny houses.We started of with doing our floor plan on a a3 piece of paper then moved on to our outside designs.Lesson two was editing our plans and gathering our equipment that we needed then shared our plan online an gave each other feedback.
